Resurgex Plus Now Available To Thousands HIV/AIDS Patients As Part Of The Pennsylvania Special Pharmaceutical Benefits Program

(OTCBB: MBTG) announces effective December 22, 2003 Resurgex Plus(TM), formally known as Prosurgex(TM), has been included for expanded nutritional supplementation reimbursement based on the recommendations of the Special Pharmaceutical Benefits Program Formulary Advisory Board of Pennsylvania (SPBP).

The Formulary Advisory Board consists of physicians and consumers who were recommended by seven Pennsylvania Regional Aids Planning Coalitions and endorsed by the Integrated HIV Planning Council. This inclusion for reimbursement on the SPBP allows Millennium's product Resurgex Plus(TM) to be available to thousands of additional HIV/AIDS patients in Pennsylvania. Currently Medicaid patients in the Philadelphia area receive Resurgex(R) and Resurgex Plus(TM) if a doctor's prescription is accompanied by a letter of medical necessity.

The expanded SPBP program covers the entire State and does not require a letter of medical necessity, only a doctor's prescription. "In essence, this represents an additional expansion of reimbursement and distribution into a wider sector of the Pennsylvania patient population.
